Plate Testing
Our team can support your project with plate testing to provide an indication of bearing capacity at pavement formations
and and supporting validation of temporary/ permanent hard-standings for heavy plant and vehicular loadings.
We are equipped with a variety of plate sizes to suit your requirements (300 to 1000mm dia plate) although significant
kentledge is required to complete tests using plates larger than 450mm diameter.
We understand the necessity for a prompt turnaround of results and will email test data direct from site.
Both plate bearing and plate load tests are carried out as below:
- Plate bearing capacity tests (to support load/displacement assessments),
- Plate load tests (for validation of temporary/permanent hard standings).
